I still haven't found my Mr Right yet, but I'm not giving up. I promised I'd go on up to 100 coffee dates to find him, and I'll keep going until the 100th man.
I'm not worried - I'll just keep being me and if I'm meant to meet him, then I'm sure he'll turn up soon.
In the meantime, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone reading this. It means a lot to know that I have your support and curiosity!
In the meantime, here are my top ten suggestions for a date with your sweet love, that won't break the bank.
Cook a special dinner together (pick a new recipe and make dessert too).
At-home wine/coffee tasting with a few options and simple scorecards.
Picnic indoors on the floor with candles and a curated playlist.
Sunset walk + photo challenge (10 prompts like “favorite detail,” “best smile”).
DIY spa night (face masks, massages, warm towels, no phones).
Game night with prizes (cards/board games + “winner chooses the next date”).
Movie night themed marathon (one genre + snacks that match the theme).
Take a beginner class together (dance, pottery, painting, or cooking).
Recreate your first date (same food/music, or a “then vs now” twist).
Write each other letters (read aloud, then plan one goal/date for next month).
Mwah!
