Lulu had texted me and asked if I wanted to walk up the the cafe precinct for a coffee. I donned my workout gear and met her out the front. It was unplanned, but we were both dressed in matching all black tights and tops, sunnies and white joggers. All that blonde and beautiful must have been too much for a drop-dead-gorgeous cyclist who guy came zooming around the bend on his bike, headed straight for us as we crossed the road. He veered to miss us, stared and gave a big cheeky smile.
“Nice,” he said as he whizzed past.
Lulu and I laughed and turned around to watch him (hoping he'd stop and come back!) He turned and looked over his shoulder. I waved. He let go of the handlebars and his bike got a bit wobbly as he waved back.We kept walking and giggling. Just before we turned the corner we looked back again and saw him look back again... and fall off his bike! Oops!
Lulu and I laughed. Not at his misfortune, but because you see stuff like that happen in cartoons, but rarely in real life. Poor guy.
If you meet a gorgeous guy that tells you he fell off his bike checking out some women near the beach, tell him to use the contact form to find us. Lulu said she'd be willing to share him with me. Tell him it's coffee time!
