Lovely setting over the lake. We chose to sit outside, undercover. The weather was cooling and the touch of sunlight was warming. Lively music playing. Lots of birds singing and flying around the tables and occasionally perching on the back of an empty chair. The staff are very friendly. They seem to like being here.
Coffee arrived promptly. It's Merlo. Lacks body. Medium roast, frothy crema. Nutty aftertaste.
I'm not a fan of Merlo. The 4 stars is more about the cafe than the coffee. It's a stretch to call the coffee very good, but I'd definitely come back here.
