2 - The Stagger Inn

I live in an Apartment block that we affectionately call The Stagger Inn. It's a set of eight apartments. Four on one side and four more across the driveway. Almost everyone in the Inn gets along great.

Next door to me there's Lulu, a gorgeous blonde around my age whom I love to pieces. She's a stunning, tall and slim blonde with amazing hair and big eyes. A real man magnet.

Evil Evie lives in the next apartment along. She's a very naughty girl, our Evie. She does whatever she likes, and she likes some pretty out there stuff.

At the end of our row, is Sexy Lexie. She's funny as hell, and what you'd call a dumb blonde, but sometimes I question if she really is dumb, or it's just an act to make people like her. I mean, who could really be that dumb?

Across the way there's Ally, whose husband left her for a man, She's never been the same since. I'll tell you more later.

We don't see much of Charlee, who lives next to Ally. She's not home very much and when she is, she's so quiet that we wouldn't know she's there.

Are there any men in the Inn? Yes! But only two. There's Roberre, literally the epitome of the tall, dark and handsome man we all talk about. He's a professional who gives the best best best hugs. Then there's Neville. He's no devil. He's pretty handsome, but kind of reserved and keeps to himself, not flirting the way Roberre does. He's separated from his wife, and I feel that he's really hurting and wants her back.

We have a lot of parties at the Inn, hence why we call it The Stagger Inn. Usually, they're spontaneous events, like when someone has some news to share, they'll rock up with some champagne and pop a cork, or if one of the girls wants some girlfriend advice, she'll pop in with a bottle of spirits and message all the girls to come over. For special occasions, we invite the whole block or even the whole street to a party in the driveway. Everyone brings food to share, and we'll stay out there laughing until late. I feel very blessed to have such a lovely group of neighbours, because I've lived in an apartment block before where there were nosy neighbours and people who just don't seem to enjoy peaceful living.
